Description The Metropolitan Police Medal Group of Police Constable A. Cory, W Division, Metropolitan Police. Arthur Cory was born in Frethorpe, Norfolk, in 1868. The 1891 Census shows him as a Police Constable at Smedley Street, Clapham.Later, continuing as a Police Constable (1911 Census) he was living at 23 Kay Road, Stockwell, London. 1921 Survey he is a retired Metropolitan Police Officer living in Moulton St Mary, Norfolk. He died in 1928 and is buried at St Mary’s Chuch, Moulton, Norfolk. Medals – Queen Victoria 1897 Jubilee Medal (P.C. A. CARY W. DIVN), Edward VII Coronation Metropolitan Police Medal (P.C. A. CORY. W. DIV) and George V Coronation Metropolitan Police Medal (P.C. A. CORY).
