Description Imperial Service Medal (GVR) named to ERNEST H. EAMES in its Elkington of London box of issue this is a George V ISM. Ernest Henry Eames was born, St Giles London in 1857. He was a Dockyard Fitter at Chatham (London Gazette 29th August 1899 pp 827. The 1911 Census confirms that he is still a Dockyard Fitter living at Canterbury Street, Gillingham, Kent. He died 2nd March 1939 aged 82 years.
