British Victory Medal 1914-1919, Gunner William Claude Broadburn, Royal Field Artillery (TF) William Broadburn was born on the 3rd of March 1889 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted and served in the 1st Home Counties, Royal Field Artillery (TF) (RFA) on home service from 13th of April, 1916 to 11th December 1916. He then transferred and served with the British Salonika Force (BSF) as a Private from 12th of December 1916 onwards. Broadburn was fined for his extra pay on the 17th August 1918 for leaving his post whilst on guard while serving under the “A” Reserve Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (RFA). He transferred to Reserve on the 11th September 1919 and demobilised on the 31st March 1920. He died on the 13th March 1941 in Middlesex, London Correctly impressed: 901294 GNR. W. C. BROADBURN.
