Description Superb group of 3 medals comprising the Afghanistan Medal with Kandahar clasp with an 1882 Egypt Medal and Khedive’s Star group of 3 medals to 1316 Private Henry Turner of the 66th Foot, Royal Berkshire Regiment. Turner enlisted 3rd July 1878. He embarked on the troopship Serapis on the 7th January 1880, destination India. He is on the known register of Battle of Maiwand Survivors. The 66th Foot, The Berkshire Regiment, famously took part in the disastrous battle at Maiwand where it suffered the catastrophic loss 10 Officers 364 Other Ranks.
